Allergen Information

Some people might wonder if there are allergens in coffee. We want to talk about this as it is really important.

Coffee is not included in the list of specific allergens set by the UK government. This includes green, un-roasted coffee beans.

There are 14 listed allergens:

🌿 Celery

🥣 Cereals containing gluten (such as barley and oats)

🦐 Crustaceans (such as prawns, crabs and lobsters)

🥚 Eggs

🐟 Fish

🍝 Lupin

🥛 Milk

🦪 Molluscs (such as mussels and oysters)

🥵 Mustard

🥜 Peanuts

🍘 Sesame

🫘 Soybeans

🌭 Sulphur Dioxide and Sulphites

🌳 Tree Nuts

We do not use any of the above ingredients during our roasting process.

Coffee does contain caffeine however. Coffee should not be consumed by infants or young children. Also it should be avoided by people who have high sensitivity to caffeine.

We do everything we can to make sure our products do not come in contact with any of the above ingredients. We do this by adhering to safe food handling processes and hygiene standards. We can not guarantee that our products do not come into contact with any of the above list as there are some parts of the process that are out of control, such as at the farm or during transportation.

If you have any questions regarding coffee and allergens please get in contact with us.
